Job Title: Senior Engineer – Tendering and Costing
Responsibilities
- Receive RFQ email from the customer, enter it into ENQUIRY REGISTER and file all its attachments in Folder.
- Review items wrt technical specifications, classify them based on Material Group and Supplier Panel.
- Issue RFQ to the suppliers.
- Followup of offers and technical datasheets along with other information like transportation and packing requirements / charges.
- Receive techno commercial offers and evaluate them based on customer requirement.
- Prepare Offer and send it to the customer.
- Followup with the customer, Negotiate, get PO.
- Verify PO is in line with offer and pass on to Order Management department for further execution process. Make SO in ERP and transfer to OM team.
- Support negotiation with the supplier for price and payment terms post PO.
- Monitoring and review of open enquiries, submitted offers to the customer and offers pending from the suppliers.

Responsibilities:
- Receive material from suppliers along with Test Certificate, Dimension report, CoC etc.
- Ensure quality of received product with respect to make, model, specification etc.
- Check quality, dimensions etc with reference to drawing.
- Ensure visual quality of products and that they are defect free.
- Ensure quantity of the received items as per PO requirements.
- Booking of inspection call for customer review and inspection purpose.
- Packing of Materials after inspection call clearance.
- Packing list and Shipment Information Sheet to be sent to the customer.
- Ensure taking photographs at each stage and ensure filing on server for future reference.
- Make dimension reports for fabricated and machined items.
